Matt And Kim recently released "Let's Go", the first track off Lightning, their upcoming album out September 25TH on FADER Label. It was recorded and self-produced in Brooklyn, NY.

Matt and Kim were last seen closing out 2011 at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on New Year's Eve. The show was the grand finale to a wildly successful 16 months, during which the band toured the world and released their third full-length album, Sidewalks. The album soared immediately to #1 on the iTunes Alternative Chart and to #3 on the Top 200 Chart. Sidewalks received accolades from SPIN, Entertainment Weekly, and Billboard as Matt and Kim garnered appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Last Call with Carson Daly.

The Brooklyn duo, Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino, met at the Pratt Institute and graduated with art school degrees. Matt And Kim began with a self-released EP, To/From in 2005 followed up by a self-titled debut album in 2006. Their sophomore album, Grand , in 2009 via FADER Label featured the Gold single "Daylight."

In January of 2012, Matt And Kim disappeared into their home studio where they've been hard at work capturing the music for Lightning and building a new stage show.

Matt And Kim will play the Catalpa Music Festival on July 29th at Randall's Island, NY and the Summer Set Music Festival on August 25th in Somerset, WI. Look for a major headlining U.S. Tour in the fall.
