The Canadian singer-songwriter, Lowell's newest single out now is called "West Coast Forever." It's on her latest EP, "Part 1: PARIS YK" released via Arts & Crafts. The collection mixes Lowell's ethereal vocals with hip-hop percussion. "Part 1: PARIS YK" features production by Grammy and Juno Award-nominated Zale Epstein (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q), Davey Badiuk (Dragonette, Tegan And Sara), and Lowell herself. The three-song collection which looks back on a formative period of her life, inspired by the grey-scale landscape of Canada's Yukon, the far-northern territory where she spent time growing up.
Lowell (born Elizabeth Lowell Boland) is perhaps best known for "Ride," a song featuring Icona Pop, which was a huge hit last summer. In 2014, she released her debut EP, "I Killed Sara V" followed by her first full-length album, "Loved Her Dearly" later that same year.
