The outrage is continuing over an Indian-American woman being named Miss America. Yesterday, Donald Trump demanded to see her birth certificate.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S aunt has been arrested for allegedly forging more than $64,000 in stolen checks from his mother and stepfather. Jane Harless is accused of writing over 100 checks to herself and forging Justin's stepdad's name. The checks date back to January 2011, just after she stopped working for the family, and she's facing 127 felony charges.
AMC is adding an extra 14th episode to the final season of MAD MEN and splitting it into two halves, one running in the spring of 2014 and the second in the spring of 2015.
- KINGS OF LEON'S new album Mechanical Bull is streaming on iTunes ahead of its official release next Tuesday.
- BEYONCé took time out to visit a public school in Rio de Janeiro yesterday while she was in town for the Rock 'n Rio Festival. There was even a wardrobe change for this appearance as Beyonce changed from a sleeveless top and long white skirt into a T-shirt and shorts to show off her soccer skills with the kids.
- A collection of paintings by STEVE WARINER will be part of an upcoming exhibit at the Tennessee State Museum. The exhibit will open on Friday, October 11th and feature 21 of his paintings.
There's a happy ending for that Boston homeless man named Glen James, who returned a lost backpack filled with nearly $42,000 in cash and traveler's checks. An online fundraising campaign set up by a Virginia man had surpassed $45,000 by yesterday evening. The goal is $50,000 and they say they've also had offers of computers, clothes, food and possibly even a house or apartment.
It's being reported that New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola won't undergo surgery for a sports hernia. However, he is expected to be out several weeks. Meanwhile, Rob Gronkowski is said to be 50-50 for this weekend's game against Tampa Bay.
Apparently that career as a master criminal just isn't working out for Portland, Oregon's 57-year-old Andrew Frank Laviguer. Police say Andrew recently robbed a local Wells Fargo branch, although his getaway didn't go as planned when he left his car keys in the bank. Unable to drive away, Andrew fled on foot to a nearby office building where officers quickly arrested him. Police say he's the prime suspect in several other heists and is being held on a previous warrant.
