Congress is hoping to pass legislation today that would end the government shutdown. Congress has about as much of a chance of successfully passing something as Tim Tebow.
Proving that nothing is too sacred for KRIS JENNER to make a buck on, she's confirmed that her separation from BRUCE JENNER was filmed for Keeping Up with the Kardashians and will be seen on the show next season.
BACHELOR SEAN LOWE and CATHERINE GIUDICI have announced that they'll get married on January 26th. Their wedding ceremony will air live on ABC.
- JON BON JOVI walked Australian bride-to-be Branka Delic down the aisle at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on Saturday. Coincidentally, that was where Bon Jovi got married in 1989. Branka started her own web site called BonJoviWalkMeDownTheAisle.com and word got around to him and he agreed to take part in the ceremony. (See here)
- You may remember those wild sex shows that RIHANNA tweeted about during her visit to Thailand last month. It turns out that some of them weren't legal in Thailand and authorities there have arrested a bar owner in connection with the shows. Rihanna also got a couple of other guys arrested after she posted a photo of herself with a protected primate.
- LADY ANTEBELLUM has postponed their Take Me Downtown tour until 2014. The tour will now begin on January 10th in Peoria, Illinois.
Macy's has announced that they'll open at least some stores for the first time ever on Thanksgiving evening at 8 p.m. and will keep them open for 24 hours. In past years, Macy's had opened at midnight to kick off the holiday shopping season. However, the so-called "holiday creep" has seen stores opening earlier and earlier. While some Macy's employees are looking forward to the overtime, others would prefer to stay home and enjoy tryptophan-induced bliss.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb will miss six-to-eight weeks after suffering a fractured fibula in Green Bay's win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
An unnamed woman was driving on Highway 24 through Woodland Park, Colorado when she struck a fawn. The woman stopped her car and got out to see if the fawn was okay. It was then that another vehicle struck another deer believed to be the young fawn's mother. That deer flew into the woman who struck the fawn, seriously injuring her. It was not forest creatures, but police and paramedics who checked to see if the woman was okay and took her to the hospital.
