Connecticut Rabbi Noah Muroff bought a desk on Craigslist in September for $150. However, when he got it home, it wouldn't fit through the door, so he was forced to take it apart. When he did so, Muroff found $98,000 in cash stuffed inside it. Even though it was past 11 p.m., Muroff called the seller and told her what he'd found. The woman was stunned and Muroff said there was never a question of keeping the money as he said, "Both my wife and I were raised as Orthodox Jews, and this is what we were taught from a young age. To do what is right, and thinking about the feelings of others. It's looking out for one's fellow man, and not just for one's self." Apparently the woman's parents had died and she hadn't decided what to do with the inheritance and stuffed it in the desk, but later forgot where she'd put it until Muroff called her. The woman gave the rabbi a $3,500 reward, plus the $150 he paid for the desk.

Craig Cobb is a white separatist and hate crimes fugitive who caused a fuss when he began buying up land in North Dakota so he can take over the town of Leith and create a home for other neo-Nazis and racists. However, those plans may have hit a snag after he went on Trisha Goddard's TV talk show and submitted to a DNA test that shows he is part black. Cobb is disputing the results and plans to get another DNA test while Dave Chappelle was unavailable for comment. (See here)
