A huge, frigid winter storm continues to grip most of the country. In fact, it's so cold that Kanye West beat up Al Roker.
JUSTIN BIEBER has a date for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, it's with a Miami judge. Bieber will be arraigned on February 14th in connection with his recent DUI arrest, although Bieber won't be required to be in court for the arraignment. Meanwhile, Radar Online says Bieber told manager Scooter Braun that he wants to take a break from music and touring to open a high end tattoo parlor with his dad. Even the head of his record label said Bieber needs help and an intervention to take pressure off him so he can get things together. Bieber is also considering selling his Calabasas mansion and moving out of the suburbs.
NBC has ordered a sitcom pilot from ELLEN DEGENERES called One Big Happy. It's about a lesbian and a straight guy who decide to have a baby together. However, things get complicated when he meets the love of his life.
- MOTLEY CRUE has announced that they're packing it in. The band says they plan to do one last 72-concert tour before retiring. They're not just blowing smoke because they even signed a legal contract stating that they're breaking up, and the last tour is exactly that. The tour kicks off July 2nd in Grand Rapids, Michigan with ALICE COOPER as of the opening act.
Check your credit card statement for a $9.84 charge. If you see such a charge there's a good chance crooks have gotten your information. The Better Business Bureau says scammers are charging stolen credit card numbers for a small amount of money, and many recent victims were billed $9.84. The scammers are only charging small amounts because cardholders aren't likely to call their credit card company about it and the credit card companies aren't likely to go after them for such a small amount. They say this latest scam isn't connected with the recent breach at Target stores. However, they're advising anyone who sees a fraudulent $9.84 charge on their bill to get a new credit card.
The Carolina Panthers have signed coach Ron Rivera to a three-year contract extension through the 2017 season. Rivera's job seemed to be in question last season after the Panthers got off to a 1-3 start.
Bangor Township, Michigan's Douglas A. Petrimoulx is facing felony charges after he shoveled his driveway. While this isn't normally a felony it seems Douglas's neighbor, Robert A. Reed, plowed his driveway and some of the snow ending up on Douglas' property. Reed came home to discover that Douglas had returned the snow to his driveway and when he went to plow his driveway again, Douglas jumped on the hood of his truck and began kicking the windshield. Reed then climbed out of his truck with the now broken windshield and asked Douglas what he was doing. When police arrived, Douglas told them that he had lost his temper. Douglas' temper tantrum now has him facing a five-year felony charge.
