Jimmy Fallon's debut as Tonight Show host drew 11.3 million viewers. In fact, the ratings were so good that NBC took Jay Leno off speed dial.
ADAM BRODY and LEIGHTON MEESTER have secretly married. They met on the set of the 2011 movie, "The Oranges," and got engaged last November, just nine months after it was revealed that they were dating, although they never publically confirmed they were an item. They were spotted at a Mexican resort last week and Brody snapped a photo with a fan at the LA airport on his return wearing a gold band on his left finger. No official comment from the couple as of yet.
VH1 has a new show coming up called NAKED DATING, which they say will "explore the art of romance free of pre-conceived notions, stereotypes and clothes." Each week a man and a woman will date two different suitors in an exotic locale and then decide if they want to pursue a relationship.
- BECK'S new album, called Morning Phase, won't be out until next week, but if you just can't wait it's now streaming on iTunes. Beck says he's also working with Pharrell Williams and could have another album out later this year, "time willing."
What is the number one problem facing America today? According to a new Gallup poll, 23 percent say that unemployment is the greatest challenge facing the nation. That's up from 16 percent in a poll taken last month. Americans had said that "government and politicians" was the number one problem following last year's government shutdown.
San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich says that Tony Parker will be out "for the foreseeable future" with "a variety of maladies." Parker played in Sunday's All-Star Game, but only had four points, two rebounds and one assist.
While watching snow removal efforts from his apartment window this week, an unnamed 39-year-old Pittsfield Township, Michigan man became frustrated with those efforts because instead of the snow being removed from around his wife's vehicle it was placed around her car, preventing her from leaving. The man then went outside and voiced his complaints to the snowplow driver by firing a shot through his windshield. The man later made his way through the snow and turned himself into police and could be charged with assault with intent to murder.
