It looks like JUSTIN BIEBER and Miami Beach prosecutors won't be cutting a plea deal in his DUI case and a trial is now almost certain. Bieber is refusing to accept any plea deal that has probationary terms, especially drug testing. However, the drug testing is a must for prosecutors. While there are some apparent holes in the case, prosecutors say they're ready to go to trial. Justin could be tried for three offenses: DUI, resisting arrest, and driving on an expired license. The worst case scenario for Bieber is 2 1/2 years behind bars, but he's unlikely to see any jail time. Meanwhile, trouble has followed Bieber to Atlanta. While at an amusement park yesterday one of his goons grabbed a photographer's camera and then jumped into an SUV and ordered the driver to take off. The photographer followed the guy to the home Justin is renting and called police. They searched the SUV and found the camera and placed Bieber's guard and the driver under arrest for theft.

A woman gave birth in the middle of a crosswalk on New York City's Upper East Side on Monday afternoon. Some witnesses immediately rushed over to help her until medics arrived, while others stopped to take pictures to share online. The good news is that the baby girl was born healthy as strangers offered their scarves to keep her warm, while others cheered for the new mom. (See here)
Newly released FBI files reveal the agency believed that Mohammed Ali's first bout against heavyweight champ Sonny Liston may have been rigged by the mob. Ali, then known as Cassius Clay, came in as an 8-1 underdog, and was declared the winner when Liston failed to answer the bell in the seventh round, complaining of a hurt shoulder. One of Liston's corner men later called that excuse BS.
An unnamed 36-year-old Independence Township, Michigan man was teaching his girlfriend how to handle pistols. To demonstrate that guns were safe when empty, one by one the man placed the pistols to his head and pulled the triggers. The first two guns were indeed empty and the third may now be empty as well as he was shot to death when he pulled the trigger. The girlfriend later told police that her boyfriend had been drinking most of the day before showing her how to safely use the guns. In what seems like a waste of taxpayer money the county medical examiner is conducting an autopsy.
