Olympic swimming champ Michael Phelps is coming out of retirement. Phelps hopes to once again smoke his competition and a few more joints.
A supposed witness tells In Touch magazine that they saw LINDSAY LOHAN indulging in vodka at the Coachella Music Festival. This person claims they overheard one of Lindsay's friends order four vodka sodas and he handed one to Lindsay and she started drinking it. This person says that Lindsay "looked completely out of it" while mingling with her sister Ali and others. The witness also claims that Lindsay couldn't stand up straight and she was frantically chain smoking cigarettes.
TV viewers didn't seem too mad about the return of MAD MEN on Sunday night. The show had the lowest rated premiere since its second year, with only 2.3 million viewers tuning in.
- MUSE plans to begin work on their seventh album next month after their Coachella appearances. Drummer Dominic Howard says, "If we can get something out this year that would be great, but definitely next year."
Chicago's Muthana Sweis asked Netflix via Twitter if they'd go with him to his junior prom if his tweet got 1,000 re-tweets. They said 'yes' and it did. Muthana actually had a real date, but Netflix set him up with a bunch of cool swag from iconic movies and TV shows, such as James Bond's "Skyfall" tux and the 1950's Buick from "Grease," with a Danny Zuko look-alike behind the wheel. Netflix also sent a camera crew along to the prom to capture the moment.
The San Diego Padres have signed second baseman Jedd Gyorko to a five-year contract extension with a team option for a sixth season. The deal is worth $35 million and includes a $13 million club option.
Florida's Crystal Hernandez went to a casino for a little gambling fun last week. Unfortunately, the 34-year-old grandmother left her four kids and one grandchild unattended at home. While being a 34-year-old grandmother might tell you about her lifestyle choices right there, neighbors called the cops when they say the kids wandering around outside asking people for food. In their report, officers noted the overwhelming smell of urine and feces in the house was "almost unbearable to stand" and the kids were removed by the authorities, and Crystal was given a new home in a much better smelling jail cell.
