Miley Cyrus has finally left the hospital. While she was in the hospital, Miley received lots of flowers and plants, which she plans to smoke.
JUSTIN BIEBER spent a little extra time at the L.A. airport upon his return from Japan. Bieber was detained by customs agents for several hours because of his legal problems. Since he's Canadian, Bieber gets grilled about all his open criminal cases whenever he returns to the U.S. from abroad, which is standard procedure for anyone in his situation. Meanwhile, Bieber's Miami DUI trial has been delayed until July. Bieber's lawyers say they want more time to examine evidence and discuss whether to accept a possible plea deal. Bieber has pleaded not guilty, although he told police he'd been smoking marijuana that night. Most defendants in Bieber's position eventually accept plea deals rather than going to trial, although that could expose him to stiffer penalties, including jail time.
SETH MEYERS has been named to host the 66th PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS. The awards will be handed out on a Monday night this year. NBC will air the show on August 25th.
- COLDPLAY will preview their upcoming album "Ghost Stories" in a one-hour NBC special on May 18th, a day before the album officially drops. In addition to new songs from the album, they'll also play favorites like "Viva La Vida," "Paradise" and "Clocks."
The next time you're worried about a loved one not having any ambition, remember the story of Southfield, Michigan's 80-year-old Marylou Ausborne. Marylou has been working at the same KFC location for over 50 years. In fact, she's been there so long that she was once even able to meet Colonel Sanders himself. Marylou describes the Colonel as "a wonderful man" who was "just great." Her daughter Marian also works there, but she's a comparative rookie as she's only been there for 34 years.
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith won't be charged with a felony for making that bomb threat at Los Angeles International Airport earlier this month. However, officials may still prosecute him on misdemeanor charges. Smith's future with the 49ers remains uncertain.
Police in Wentzville, Missouri spotted a swerving truck and, thinking the driver was drunk, pulled it over. It turns out the driver wasn't drunk. It seems David Mooney Ham had too much to drink at his son's baseball game so he put his 13-year-old kid behind the wheel, despite not having any driving experience.
