George Clooney may be off the market, but PRINCE HARRY may be back on it! The buzz is that Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas have either called it quits or are at least taking a break. It's said that Harry's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, may be to blame. The tabloids are saying Kate described the pressures of marrying into the royal family and Cressida began having second thoughts. Word is that Harry is hopeful they can work things out, but the engagement that seemed imminent apparently won't happen anytime soon, if at all.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA has confirmed that GWEN STEFANI will take her place on "The Voice" while she goes on maternity leave. Christina sent a tweet to Gwen yesterday saying, "So excited to have you join The Voice...Welcome to our crazy (family)!" The seventh season of The Voice is due to start filming in June.
- Billboard magazine reports BEYONCE has overtaken Michael Jackson and Prince to become the top-earning black artist of all time. Her Mrs. Carter Show world tour raked in $212 million to put her over the top and she'll add to her lead with her upcoming On the Run tour with husband Jay Z.
Two-time NCAA champion James "The Beast" Nielsen has just set a record by running a mile in 4-minutes, 57-seconds. Actually, that's a record in the Beer Mile. It's a one-mile race in which the runner must stop every 400 meters to drink a beer. Nielsen says he trained for a year to break the record, including getting back into running shape, as well as training his stomach, even studying anatomy and "the physics of fluid dynamics and air displacement."
The New York Knicks are said to be trying to complete a deal with TNT's Steve Kerr to become their new coach after the first round of the playoffs. However, there's also talk that Kerr might delay signing to see what other jobs might open up as teams are eliminated from the playoffs.
Providence, Rhode Island police have arrested 34-year-old Gary Deming after he allegedly attempted to hold up a convenience store and a dry cleaner with a potato disguised as a gun. The convenience store manager chased him off with a baseball bat, while a dry cleaning employee gave him a fake $20 from a decoy register. Deming is also accused of breaking into his sister's home on the same day and taking a purse, debit card and $100 in cash.
