Oprah Winfrey reportedly wants to buy the Los Angeles Clippers. Oprah says she'd like to move the team to a larger facility...like her house.
It's reported that PEACHES GELDOF died from a heroin overdose. The cause of death will be officially revealed today at an inquest, but the Times of London leaked the results of the toxicology report. Peaches' mother, Paula Yates, also died from a heroin overdose in 2000. One government official in Britain said of the leak, "if I find out who leaked it I will cut their balls off."
JUDGE JUDY is heading to primetime for one night on CBS May 20th. "Judge Judy Primetime" will include new cases and tell the story of her rise to fame.
- BACKSTREET BOY NICK CARTER and NEW KID ON THE BLOCK JORDAN KNIGHT have formed a new duo called Nick & Knight. They'll release their debut album on September 2nd and will hit the road a couple weeks later.
North America's favorite party mayor, Toronto's Rob Ford, says he's "ready to take a break" from his re-election campaign to "go get help." This comes after a new audio recording of him allegedly swearing while at a bar has surfaced, along with a second video of him smoking what appears to be crack cocaine in his sister's basement early Saturday morning. The clip reportedly shows Ford taking a drag from a long copper-colored pipe, exhaling a cloud of smoke with his right arm convulsing. The footage was shot by a drug dealer, who says he's selling it for "at least six figures."
The 32-year-old son of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, Scott Sterling, was found dead in his Malibu home Tuesday night. Authorities suspect it was a drug overdose. Scott Sterling had battled Type 1 Diabetes.
The family of an unnamed 20-year-old Deerfield Beach, Florida man decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. However, the birthday boy wasn't the only one who was surprised. His family lit the candles on his cake and then hid it on the washing machine in a closet of their apartment. When it was time to bring out the cake, the entire family was surprised when they opened the closet door and were met with a barrage of water from the sprinkler that the candles had triggered. The apartment was flooded, displacing the family.
