The good news is eBay stored credit card information separately and the hackers didn't get to that. eBay also says they haven't seen any fraudulent activity as a result of the hack. They're saying that the cyber attack took place between late February and early March of this year, but eBay only noticed it two weeks ago. Georgia high school student Paris Gray used the periodic table for her yearbook quote writing, "When the going gets tough just remember to Barium, Carbon, Potassium, Thorium, Astatine, Arsenic, Sulfur, Uranium, Phosphorus." School officials eventually figured out that the atomic symbols spelled: "Back that ass up." Gray's mother, Zarinah Woods, thought the quote was funny and told her daughter, 'You are such a nerd.' However, the school wasn't laughing and gave Paris an in-school suspension, barred her from the annual senior walk and possibly from giving her speech at graduation. Luckily, cooler heads prevailed after Paris and her family sat down with school officials, who rescinded the punishment.
