Lindsay Lohan is suing the makers of a video game claiming they used her likeness without permission. I think the name of the game is Grand Theft Necklace
Singer JEWEL and husband TY MURRAY are splitting after six years of marriage and a total of 16 years together. Jewel announced the news on her blog and while they didn't 'consciously uncouple,' Jewel wrote that they've "Been engaged in a private and difficult, but thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves...stitch by stitch, and releasing each other with love so that we may take on our new form: dear friends and devoted co-parents of our beloved son Kase."
MARIO CANTONE has reportedly been offered a deal to join THE VIEW. While he's already a frequent guest host, he'd be the first regular male co-host.
- RYAN ADAMS will release a new self-titled album on September 9th. The 7-inch vinyl version of the first single, "Gimme Something Good," contains the B-side "Achin' For More," featuring actor Johnny Depp on guitar. Adams will do a brief U.S. tour starting July 22nd in Portland, Maine.
There's a new wireless router looking for funding on the Kickstarter site that could allow parents to make their kids earn their Internet usage time at home. The Kudoso lets parents set up a system where their kids would earn points for doing chores or homework and such in return for time online. Parents can also select which Web sites they could go to. They're hoping to raise $50,000 for the project.
Both the Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder are reportedly making pushes to sign Lakers free-agent center Pau Gasol. The Bulls are interested in Gasol because they apparently feel they won't be signing Carmelo Anthony.
An unnamed Lansing, Michigan man decided to go snowmobiling. Unfortunately, he did so this week when temperatures were in the 80s and there was no snow on the ground. Police caught up with the man after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree. Authorities believe speed was a factor in the accident as was alcohol and he faces charges of DUI and driving on a suspended license.
