The news comes from Kate's longtime friend, Jessica Hay, who also blabbed about their first child, just weeks before the royal confirmation came. No word on why Kate would want to remain friends with someone that gossips about her. They say the tell-tale signs include Kate's face being fuller like it was when she was first expecting and she's letting her grey hairs show, plus whenever she's out in public she goes to great lengths to hold something over her tummy. In any case, they say the royal couple will make the official announcement in weeks.

The next, and final issue of the series, will jump ahead one year to depict how Betty, Veronica and the rest of the Riverdale gang is handling Archie's death.

Former Ridgewood, New Jersey public works inspector Thomas Rica has been sentenced to five years' probation for stealing $460,000 in quarters collected from the city's parking meters. Under his plea deal, Rica won't serve any jail time and he'll only have to pay back $250,000. Prosecutors say that if they'd gone to trial, Rica may have gone to jail, but wouldn't have had to return any money at all, so they elected to recoup some of the funds.
