The man who shot SUGE KNIGHT and two others at CHRIS BROWN'S MTV Video Music Awards pre-party has been caught on the club's surveillance video. However, so far no one is willing to come forward to finger the guy. Police want to interview Knight, but he's still under sedation, and not likely to talk anyway. If all else fails, authorities may release the video so maybe someone in the public can identify the person. (See shooting mayhem here) Meanwhile, a longtime friend of Knight tells Radar Online the beef started when gang members accused Suge of killing Tupac and called him a traitor. Knight supposedly hurled an F-word at them and about 10 to 12 shots were fired.

Last weekend's earthquake in California's Napa Valley could be bad news for wine lovers. Word has it that over a million bottles of wine may have been lost in the quake. Vintners are still assessing the damage as the earthquake left barrels of wine strewn about, although some of them weren't damaged, but at the Hess Collection winery, two 10,000-gallon wine storage tanks were left crumpled. It was the biggest earthquake to hit California's Bay Area in 25 years and it injured more than 200 people and damaged at least 49 buildings that were "red-tagged" as unsafe.
The NFL suspended Washington Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather for the first two games of the season after he delivered another helmet-to-helmet hit, this time on Baltimore Ravens receiver Torrey Smith in the second quarter of Saturday's preseason game. Richland, Washington's Joseph Lewis Fry lost some serious jailhouse cred. After Fry and another man got into an argument while panhandling, police intervened. As an officer talked to Fry, the transient took off running. A family happened to be driving by and saw the officer wasn't going to catch Fry, so Becky Powell told her husband to speed up and get in front of Fry. When he did, Becky jumped out of the still moving vehicle, got into a football stance and told Fry, 'You're going to stay here.' Fry tried to stiff-arm Becky, but she wrapped him up, grabbed onto his shorts, exposing his back side as they fell, and threw him on the ground. Becky turned Fry over to cops, but not before she whispered in his ear, 'How does it feel to be taken down by a mother of five and a grandmother of three?'
