Stop me if you've heard this one before, but JUSTIN BIEBER is under investigation for several crimes, including attempted robbery, after he allegedly lunged at a fan at a Dave & Buster's. Bieber was there with Selena Gomez on Monday night when a fan started taking cell phone photos and video of the two. Justin was apparently trying to get the guy's phone to presumably erase the pictures and video. However, Justin's security held him back and he never made contact with the fan and he was gone by the time police arrived. Still, the fan apparently wants to press charges and Justin is being investigated, which could be a problem for Bieber since he's on probation.
Monday night's EMMY AWARDS drew 15.6 million viewers, which is down from last year's 17.8 million on CBS. However, last year's telecast benefitted from having a high-rated NFL game as its lead-in. Still, it was the most-watched Emmy telecast since 2006, when 16.2 million tuned in.
- KINGS OF LEON have canceled two more concerts as drummer Nathan Followill continues to recover from the rib injuries he suffered in a bus crash earlier this month. Thursday and Friday's shows are off, but they still plan to headline the Budweiser Made in America Festival in Philadelphia on Sunday.
The class of 2018 is starting college, but what is life like for these whipper-snappers? Most were born in 1996 and according to this year's Mindset List, they probably never used Netscape or watched Saturday morning cartoons. Scenes of 9/11 haunted them in kindergarten, the WNBA has always been around, and there have always been female refs in the NBA. TV shows have always had a parental advisory rating system, Harry Potter made wire-rimmed glasses famous and not John Lennon and that "pound" sign on the phone is now a "hashtag."
The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly traded Jared Dudley to the Milwaukee Bucks for forward Carlos Delfino, backup center Miroslav Raduljica and a future first-round pick.
Upper Darby, Pennsylvania's Clarence W. Hairston took his two nephews out for a drive. Unfortunately, a police officer noticed their car driving erratically before striking a parked vehicle. Upon closer inspection, the officer found Clarence behind the wheel holding a 25 ounce can of beer with an 8-year-old nephew on his lap steering while the 9-year-old was in the back seat jumping around. After stumbling out of his car, Clarence continued drinking his beer while telling the officer he did nothing wrong and was only letting the kids go for a drive. The officer begged to differ and arrested Clarence for DUI and reckless endangerment.
