KESHA is suing her producer, DR. LUKE, claiming she was sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused for 10 years to the point where she nearly died. Kesha says in her lawsuit that Dr. Luke was abusive towards her almost from the time she signed on with him at the age of 18 and that he made repeated sexual advances toward her and would force her to use drugs and alcohol. She says that on one occasion, after forcing her to drink with him, Dr. Luke gave her what he called "sober pills" and she woke up the following afternoon, naked in his bed, sore, sick and with no memory of how she got there. Kesha says the alleged abuse led to her eating disorder and he once said to her, "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me." Kesha is asking a judge to let her out of her contract with Luke. However, there are two sides to every story as Dr. Luke is countersuing, saying she's making up stories in order to get out of her legally binding contract and that she tried extorting him. Luke says in his lawsuit that he's had a draft copy of Kesha's lawsuit for months, and that she was threatening to file it if he didn't release her. His lawyers claim Kesha and her mom have already admitted the statements are false.
