This is the weekend we turn our clocks back one hour. That means Kim Kardashian will get an extra hour of selfies.
BILL COSBY won't be appearing on QUEEN LATIFAH'S talk show as planned, but there are conflicting reports as to why. The buzz is that Queen Latifah and her producers got gun shy after comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby out on rape allegations recently. Cosby has never been criminally charged with sexual assault, although he has been sued over the matter. However, the official line from the show is that Cosby's scheduled appearance was postponed at his request.
PAUL REUBENS has confirmed that he's bringing PEE-WEE HERMAN back to the big screen with Judd Apatow producing. Reubens says they plan to start filming in February. (See announcement here)
- METALLICA is working on remastered, deluxe editions of their first two albums, 1983's Kill 'Em All and 1984's Ride the Lightning, which they hope to put out next year. The Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden is planning to reveal his identity in a two-part interview on Fox News on November 11th and 12th. He'll describe his training and events leading up to the raid and things like bin Laden's last breath.
An estimated 23.5 million people watched the San Francisco Giants' 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals in Game 7, allowing it to avoid the distinction of being the least-watched World Series ever. The series averaged 13.8 million viewers, second lowest ahead of only the Giants' four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers in 2012.
They say that dogs are man's best friend. Unfortunately for Prattville, Alabama's Edwin Henderson, his dog Bo was a little too friendly. When drug officers showed up at Edwin's house this week, he hit the door running. One of the cops told Bo to go get him, and the dog was happy to oblige. Bo and the officers pursued the fleeing Edwin and when the dog stopped and wagged his tail in tall grass, officers found and arrested Henderson.
