K-Mart has announced that they'll open for Black Friday shopping at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. It's a great idea because it'll allow people to go shopping when their friends are unlikely to see them at K-Mart.
CHARLIE SHEEN'S ex-fiancee, porn star BRETT ROSSI, was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles over the weekend after an apparent overdose. A supposed insider tells Radar Online that she had her stomach pumped and spent a couple nights in the hospital. The source said the breakup with Charlie has taken an emotional toll on her. Sheen is said to be very concerned about Brett and is in communication with her.
JAY LENO is returning to THE TONIGHT SHOW! Actually, he's just going to be a guest this Friday to plug his upcoming CNBC car show Jay Leno's Garage.
- You may have noticed that TAYLOR SWIFT has pulled all of her music off the streaming service Spotify. No word on why, although it presumably has to do with money, but Spotify says they hope she'll change her mind.
According to a new study from Edinburgh University, men and women who are vertically challenged have an increased risk of dementia. They found that men under 5' 6" are 50 percent more likely to die from dementia than those over 5' 10". The odds are less pronounced for women, but they found that those under 5' 3" were 10 percent likelier to get dementia. However, they said it wasn't the height itself that was an indicator of dementia, but poor nutrition, stress or other hardships in childhood, or other early life factors, that can lead to being shorter in stature.
The Philadelphia Eagles say quarterback Nick Foles fractured his collarbone in the second quarter of Sunday's 31-21 victory over the Houston Texans and will be sidelined 6-8 weeks. The Eagles also say linebacker DeMeco Ryans has an Achilles injury and is expected to be out for the season.
Apparently pudgy Alabama teenager Zachary Rapheal Torrance was dissatisfied with his results when he tried losing weight by following the famous Jared from Subway diet. While most people would move on and try another diet, Zachary demanded a refund. Unfortunately, Zachary obtained his refunds by using a gun to rob four are Subway shops. Hueytown police received a tip from someone who recognized Zachary's photo on their Facebook page and police nabbed him while wearing the same outfit he wore during a recent robbery. Zachary is now finding whether he can lose weight on a diet of jailhouse food.
