AMANDA BYNES' parents have given up on her and plan to hand over the conservatorship to a mental health professional. They've already made arrangements to transfer financial matters to a money manager and when it's all settled they plan to move to Texas to be closer to their older daughter. Amanda's parents say they're hoping that once someone else controls her life, she'll stop lashing out at them and they can have a relationship. Amanda was only being given $50 to $100 a day in gift cards to get by on and it wasn't enough for her to rent an apartment. She'd been staying with her hair stylist, but photos surfaced yesterday showing her sleeping on a couch at a Los Angeles shopping mall. Amanda again lashed out at her parents on Twitter saying, "FYI! I hate my parents for still not giving me money for a hotel. What is wrong with them? My lawyer is working to have them fully removed from being my conservator, because they don't deserve control over my money - They are miserable in their life and I will fight to get control of my finances taken away from them!"

One of the few bright spots for Democrats in Tuesday's elections was the victory by Democratic Rep. Roger Freeman in Washington state. Even in victory there was bad news for the Democrats as the 48-year-old Freeman died last week after a long battle with cancer. Many voters either didn't know Freeman had died or had already sent in their ballots and Democrats will name a temporary replacement.
