Maxim magazine has announced that Taylor Swift is number-one on their annual Hot 100 list. I suppose she's okay if you like the hot, gorgeous, successful, talented types.
BRISTOL PALIN has called off this weekend's planned wedding to U.S. Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer. There had been rumors that Meyer had been secretly married and not yet divorced. While the Palins denied that in their announcement, they didn't say why the wedding was called off.
THE BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS drew 11.1 million viewers among adults 18-49. It was the third straight year viewership has gone up and marked a 14-year high for the show. The series finale of MAD MEN also scored big on the evening and was the number-two show of the night.
IGGY AZALEA admitted to an "image overhaul" at the Billboard Music Awards, but speculation is she may have gone under the knife and had some work done on her chin and nose. Us Weekly claims she had it done just a few months after she talked about her breast augmentation. No confirmation or denial as of yet from her people.
Crayola is warning people against following the advice of beauty bloggers who've posted tutorials for using their crayons as makeup. The beauty bloggers show people how to soak Crayolas in warm water for a few minutes to soften them up enough to use as eyeliner pencils. While bloggers say they must be safe since kids eat them all the time, Crayola says that doesn't mean they're tested safe to use as lipstick, eyeliner or other make-up. (See here)
Pitcher Bruce Chen announced his retirement yesterday after 17 seasons on 11 different Major League teams. Chen was designated for assignment by Cleveland on Saturday.
Bradenton, Florida's Ryan T. Smith had a beef with a man who's now presumably a former friend. Smith got his revenge by going to the pal's house and taking a baseball bat to the windows of his car. Unfortunately, the car he smashed wasn't his friend's, but that of a neighbor. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,600 and Smith was arrested on charges of felony criminal mischief.
