The exodus of advertisers from 19 KIDS AND COUNTING continues. Jimmy Dean, Pure Leaf Iced Tea, Ace Hardware, David's Bridal, ConAgra Foods, Party City and Behr have all bailed and CVS, H&R Block, Ricola and Keurig all say they have no plans of advertising with the show if it returns. While the show's return seems unlikely, word has it TLC is considering a new series featuring Jill and Jessa Duggar and their new husbands.
Netflix has renewed the comedy GRACE AND FRANKIE for a second season and they may have MILEY CYRUS to thank for it! The series stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, who learn that their husbands have fallen for each other and are leaving them to be together. Miley figured into the plot on one of the episodes and raved about the show to her Twitter followers.
PAUL MCCARTNEY could've appeared on the TV show Friends! They approached Paul about playing Ross Geller's father-in-law when he married Emily Waltham during the two-part season four finale back in 1998. Paul sent back a letter saying he was flattered, but he was very busy.
Scientists now say that it's okay to go out drinking on a work night! However, they say you should make sure to call it a night early enough so that you can get at least seven hours of sleep. The science guys say getting less than the recommended seven hours of sleep will hurt your productivity the next day far more than the booze. Researchers also found that eating and smoking heavily on a weeknight had no adverse effect the next day.
The Houston Texans will be the subject of HBO's Hard Knocks this season. This year's series will premiere August 11th.
An unnamed Apopka, Florida man crashed into a fire hydrant, sending water spewing, flooding a house and the street. The water also caused a hole to open in the roadway and the driver pulled into a driveway and got to inspect the damage. However, when he tried to get back in his truck, he found the doors were locked, so he kicked out the back window. The driver then tried to leave the area but drove into the hole in the roadway.
