A Nepal hospital is disputing CNN medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta's claims that he operated on a girl there after the country's April earthquake. However, Dr. Gupta is being backed up by NBC's Brian Williams, who claims he assisted.
A Florida woman claims she helped prompt the raid on suspended Subway spokesman JARED FOGLE'S Indiana home. Not only was Jared associated with a man charged with possession of child porn, the woman says Fogle told her he thought middle school girls were 'hot' and other such things. These comments supposedly came about 10 years ago and at some point she says the FBI had her wear a wire and record him. No word on when that went down, but Jared's attorney says she's not credible and the search of his home turned up nothing.
Producers of the new series FEAR THE WALKING DEAD have finally posted some teaser footage from the show. The show will have a 90-minute worldwide premiere on Sunday, August 23rd on AMC. (See here)
DEMI LOVATO may not be all about that bass, but she went on Instagram Saturday night to share some words of encouragement with her 18.6 million followers by posting a photo of herself wearing a one-piece with the caption, "Learn to lurrrrrvveee yerrrrr currrrrvveees. I actually used to hate them... But then a special someone helped me learn how to love them... And he sure loves them." That 'someone' is rumored to be Wilmer Valderrama! (See here)
A new study has found that when people turn 21 they trade one bud for another. Not surprisingly, the study found that when people turned 21, which is the legal drinking age, they began consuming more alcohol. What was surprising is that they also found that when they turned 21 they smoked a lot less marijuana. They believe it's because 21-year-olds suddenly have easy access to alcohol. They also discovered a gender inequality as they say women's marijuana use at 21 dropped by 15 percent, while men's use only dropped seven percent. Researchers say that lowering the drinking age could decrease marijuana use in that age group.
If you don't think women go through severe mood swings while pregnant, just ask the boyfriend of Arkansas' Shavonne Walker. Shavonne attempted to stab her boyfriend with a knife. The boyfriend managed to get the knife away from her, but not the scissors she stabbed him with. Doctors told police the scissors pierced his skin down to the bone and the boyfriend explained the confrontation by saying Shavonne stabbed him because he made a grilled cheese sandwich in middle of the night.
