Starting this fall Sesame Street is going to air on HBO. Actually, it's not the first time a Muppet has appeared on HBO. A couple years ago, the Count guest starred on an episode of True Blood.
DIDDY'S son, Justin Combs, is back on the football field for the UCLA Bruins after his dad's alleged assault on a coach. Head coach Jim Mora met with Justin last week to clear the air and he's back on the squad, although Diddy isn't allowed at practices, at least for now.
NBC says all of their Chicago shows - Med, Fire and P.D., along with Law & Order SVU, will do a massive four-way crossover this season. The crossover event will take place in February and will include eight stories.
RYAN ADAMS has shared another snippet of his upcoming cover of Taylor Swift's 1989 album. This time he's sharing a bit of "Wildest Dreams." Adams also says that he's only four songs away from finishing the album. (See clip here)
Ohio could become the fifth state in the country to legalize recreational marijuana. Backers of the proposed law have collected enough valid signatures to qualify it for November's general election. A group called Responsible Ohio plans to spend at least $20 million to encourage people to vote in favor of legalization. Of course, the right wing crowd, including former governor and Republican presidential candidate John Kasich, are against it.
As expected, James Harden has signed an endorsement deal with Adidas worth a combined $200 million over 13 years. Harden had been with Nike, but they decided not to match the offer.
Today's adventures with heroin takes us to Manchester, New Hampshire where police were called to the Bird Bath Laundromat. A citizen was concerned that a man had been in the bathroom for a long time, and wanted the officer to check on his well-being. When the officer knocked on the bathroom door, Nicholai Dandurant emerged, holding a loaded syringe and had a brown liquid protruding from his front pocket. Nicholai confirmed the liquid was heroin and he was about to inject himself with it. Police also found an oxycodone pill in his possession and he was arrested. (See eerie mug shot here)
