According to a new study, daily marijuana use among college students is at its highest rate in 35 years. In fact, last year, for the first time ever, pot smoking surpassed cigarette smoking. The study also found ecstasy and cocaine use are rising, but alcohol consumption is declining. One of the reasons pot use is up and alcohol is down is that booze is perceived to be the more harmful of the two.

Ocala, Florida's Rosi Calzada left her Samsung Galaxy phone on the checkout counter at a local Wal-Mart and later called to see if they had it. Apparently Wal-Mart employee Markeisha Lashay Burwell was unaware of the store's surveillance cameras as the video showed her taking the phone. Markeisha told officers she wasn't sure if she had the phone, but if she did, it would be in her car. That's where officers found the phone, although Rosi's photos and contacts were deleted. Markeisha admitted to deleting the photos and contacts and hiding it in her car with the intention of keeping it. Her bail was set at $2,000, which is much more expensive than a typical phone.
