Donald Trump says he watched when Kanye West announced that he was running for president on the MTV Awards and that he hopes to run against him someday. Of course, the big news here is that Donald Trump was watching the MTV Awards.
MEL GIBSON has been cleared of that alleged attack on a female photographer in Australia. The woman claimed Mel shoved her in the back and spit on her, but police looked into the matter and, after interviewing witnesses and reviewing security camera footage, they found no evidence to support her claims.
There's a spoiler ahead of the upcoming season finale of BACHELOR IN PARADISE. After meeting on the first episode, Kirk DeWindt dumps Carly Waddell on the two-part finale next week. Word is there was plenty of drama and tears.
LAUREN ALAINA has written and recorded a new song called history that'll be used in ESPN's college football coverage this season. In a press release Lauren said, "Thank you ESPN for giving me something to make my boyfriend, dad, and brother think I'm that much cooler!"
We have a rare treat in store for us later this month in the form of a super-moon lunar eclipse. On the night of September 27th, the full moon will happen when it's at the closest point in its orbit around Earth, making it appear up to 14% larger and brighter than usual. Just as that happens, we'll have the eclipse. It'll be visible to most people in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The last time it happened was in 1982 and you won't want to miss this one as the next time it happens won't be until the year 2033.
Former NFL running back Lawrence Phillips has been charged with the murder of his cellmate at a California prison. Phillips is accused of strangling his cellmate and, if convicted, faces 25 to life, plus 15 years. Phillips is already serving a 31-year sentence for choking his then-girlfriend in 2005 and driving his car into three teenagers after a pickup football game.
A 40-year-old Longview, Washington, man was arrested after attempting to rob a marijuana dispensary this week. Employee Brenda Young sustained bruises to her ribs and arms during the struggle over the jar of buds before the crook gave up and left empty-handed. Brenda called police and they nabbed the man a short time later. Fans of irony will want to spark one up when they hear the suspect's name is John D. Roach.
