CBS has pulled the plug on Halle Berry's sci-fi drama Extant in which she played an astronaut who returns from space pregnant with an alien baby. That's a shame. Now we have another single mother out of work.
CHARLIE SHEEN ended up a little worse for wear after a night out at Hennessey's Tavern in Dana Point, California. Charlie was posing for photos with people, but when one woman tried to shoot video of him on her cell phone, he slapped it out of her hand. However, other reports say the bass player with the band that was playing at the club took an unwelcome photo of Charlie and the two got into a fight. In any case, the club's bouncer 86'd him from the place, but there was more to come. Charlie insisted on meeting the bouncer, they shook hands, said goodnight, and Charlie's driver took him home. TWIN PEAKS has begun filming and according to video that has leaked from the set, Laura Palmer may be alive and well. In the clip, Agent Cooper, played by Kyle MacLachlan, is seen walking up to the Palmer house with what looks like Laura. Of course, it could be a flashback. (See here)

So you don't have to try it yourself, four French hikers managed to capture the sensation as they were recording their hike with a Go Pro camera when the Hope Ruahine bridge collapsed beneath them in New Zealand's Te Urewera National Park. The new Associated Press Top 25 college football poll is out and Ohio State remains on top, followed by Baylor, which is enjoying its highest-ever ranking in the poll. The rest of the top five are TCU, Utah and Clemson.
At the age of 23, Oregon's Roshawn Garrett already has a long criminal history and it recently got even longer. Garrett's run-ins with the law include charges of felony elude, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license. Deputies recently caught him driving another stolen vehicle and after a brief chase Garrett was arrested once again, this time wearing a T-shirt that said, "Warning, I do dumb things."
