Subway has begun measuring their foot-long subs in response to a lawsuit that claimed the sandwiches weren't actually 12 inches long. If someone got sued every time they exaggerated the size of something, every guy in the world would be in court.
ZENDAYA posed for the cover of Modeliste magazine, but she's not happy with the results. Zendaya slammed the editors for Photoshopping her and then shared a "before and after" comparison on Instagram to show fans what she really looked like in the shots. Zendaya included the caption: "Had a new shoot come out today and was shocked when I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated. These are the things that make women self conscious, that create the unrealistic ideals of beauty that we have. Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for honest and pure self love. So I took it upon myself to release the real pic (right side) and I love it." (See here)
The Discovery Channel announced that after 248 episodes, 2950 experiments, 1050 myths, and 900 explosions MYTHBUSTERS Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman will bust their last myth next year. The final season of the show will premiere on January 9th.
JANET JACKSON is apologizing to fans after some of their Instagram accounts got shut down for sharing clips from her concerts. Janet also tossed her management team under the bus for being such hard butts about it. Janet said fans can share brief clips from her shows, but longer videos are still a no-no.
Scientists say that 2015 is almost assuredly going to be the hottest year since they began keeping weather records in 1880. If it is the hottest, it would break the record set just last year. In fact, they're saying it would be the warmest year since the 600s, which is before the Crusades, the fall of the Mayan Civilization and the Viking invasions of Europe. Of course, they weren't keeping records then, but climate scientists can tell what temperatures were back then by analyzing ice cores, lake sediments and tree rings. The warmth back in the 600s was at the tail end of a natural warming cycle that had begun after the most recent ice age.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristan Thompson have agreed on a five-year, $82 million deal. The deal doesn't include player or team options and all money is guaranteed, making Thompson the sixth-highest-paid power forward in the NBA.
Not having her cake and eating it, too, was one unnamed woman in Alpena, Michigan. Police received a call from a homeowner who reported that a drunken woman had broken into their house and had knocked over or broken several items, including a tray of cupcakes. Police searched the area and were able to easily pick out the suspect as she was highly intoxicated and had cupcake frosting and cake all over her torso and legs.
