The Denver Broncos have benched injured quarterback Peyton Manning. The good news for Manning is that, immediately after it was announced, he landed a major bench endorsement deal.
STEVE HARVEY is being sued by an aircraft leasing company, claiming he cut a deal to lease a Gulfstream jet, but demanded modifications to the airplane's interior to the tune of over $400,000. However, after the work was done, Harvey apparently changed his mind and never leased the jet and only paid them about half of what was owed for the changes. The leasing company is seeking just over $200,000.
ABC has announced that Season 20 of THE BACHELOR will debut on January 4th. The new Bachelor is Ben Higgins, who was a contestant on The Bachelorette last season.
THE DIXIE CHICKS have firmed up plans to hit the road on a 2016 summer tour. The tour kicks off on June 1st in Cincinnati. The band previously announced European dates.
According to a new survey, a majority of Americans want the United States to intensify its assault on the Islamic State following the Paris attacks. Despite that, most people are still opposed to sending troops to Iraq or Syria. Meanwhile, a video purported to be from ISIS has threatened to attack the U.S., particularly Washington D.C. However, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it hasn't received any credible information indicating a potential attack.
The Dallas Cowboys say quarterback Tony Romo's fractured collarbone appears to have healed and he should be cleared to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Martin County, Florida's 26-year-old Celia Bufkin recently got into an argument with her boyfriend. Police arrived to find the boyfriend with blood on his face and ear and a loose tooth after Bufkin allegedly hit him in the head with a beer bottle and bit his arm. Officers charged Bufkin with aggravated battery and, in case you're wondering, the couple got into an argument after she got drunk and her boyfriend demanded that she hand over his car keys. Bufkin apparently wasn't even in shape to ride in a car as she urinated in the patrol vehicle on the way to the station.
