PAMELA ANDERSON will be the cover girl for Playboy magazine's last nude issue. It'll be Pam's 14th time on the cover and she'll appear nude on the inside of the magazine as well. Pam said she was hesitant to do it, but her teenage sons were all for it with her son Brandon telling her, 'Mom you've got to do it. We're older; we're not embarrassed of you anymore.' In all, Pam says she's grateful she was given a chance to pose for Playboy one more time, because at the age of 48 she's started to feel insecure about her aging appearance. Pam said of the photo shoot: "The photographer shot me in one roll of film because I was nervous and throwing up. But then I saw the pictures, and from there it was hard to keep my clothes on!" The issue hits stands next week. (See cover here)

In other words, the music industry honchos on the Hall of Fame board will decide who they want in.
Portsmouth, New Hampshire, police officer Michael Kotsonis responded to a shoplifting call at Ocean State Job Lots where cake mix, shortening, and a container of frosting had been stolen. Officer Kotsonis quickly established the suspect's identity and paid a visit to her home, where he discovered the woman stole the items so she could make her child a birthday cake. Officer Kotsonis didn't arrest the woman, but instead confiscated the items, returned them to the store, paid for them with his own money and then took them back to the suspect. Officer Kotsonis said that the mother's actions weren't right, but added, "I am not going to take away a kid's birthday cake."
