Garth Brooks

Pearl Records' Garth Brooks followed through on a promise that stemmed from a viral social media campaign. NBC-TV's "America's Got Talent" (AGT) contestant Michael Ketterer is a fan of Brooks and wanted to to perform a song written by Brooks. The catch? He wanted Brooks to pen a tune just for him.
"AGT" judge Simon Cowell issued a challenge to Brooks that soon went viral online, and Brooks answered the call accordingly. During this week's "Inside Studio G: A Monday Night Conversation," Brooks was joined by Ketterer and together, they shared that Brooks had, indeed, written a song for Ketterer to perform on the "AGT" season finale in which he was competing for the grand prize. Brooks took it one step more, however, when he invited Ketterer to perform as an opening act at his upcoming sold-out show at Notre Dame Stadium. Ketterer performed the song, penned by Brooks, during this week's "AGT" finale, and though he did not win the grand prize, Ketterer earned many fans along the way -- including Brooks.
