For Your Next Concert Or Festival
Bannering is good. And since most of your competitors forgot (or never even knew) the Art of a great concert takeover, it's pretty easy to kill them.
As evidenced with the dancing Santas last August, or the Entourage dancing with Rihanna placards on street corners in Ottawa two weeks ago, movement trumps most signage. Chet and his Toy Drive have used sign spinning in Las Vegas. Wild in Tampa used spinners at a Bieber show. It's not rocket science (say the guy who can't dance). Get some interns. Mount a rollabanner on foamcore, and give them some music to learn to spin to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_A4XJalsE0
A couple of the morning shows have tried this curve. And another one did today. The calls were split between PASSIONATE feelings regarding adultery, and people who thought they knew the couple and were going to call and warn them they were on the radio.
You're talking about something, you're taking calls and VOILE', one of them is muffled. Low talk in the background. You joke that you've just gotten your first official pocket dial and before you move on, suddenly, you can hear them more clearly. As you listen, it's a guy and a woman discussing each others' spouses, making sure they pay cash when they check out so it doesn't end up on a credit card, maybe taking one last look around the room in case they left anything and bang...they're gone.
You just heard a cheating couple checking out of a hotel room. You post the audio, you open up the phones...they melt. Great bit. All theater. Do it.
A New Way To Look At Breast (augmentation)
One of the stations has a client that would like to provide the service for a listener.
One of the Promotional Universals is that you can never, ever go wrong with bashing bastard ex-boyfriends and husbands. It's 24/7/364 (Christmas is out) hunting season on these db's. So what if you umbrella'ed it as "The Sweetest Revenge". Really? You dumped me for your secretary and cleaned me out? Huh. Well, read 'em and weep ahole.
Sweet in Omaha did breasts in 2000 and literally half the entrants were people signing up sisters, moms and coworkers who really needed a boost in their self-esteem so they could hit the "back and dating again" ground running.
