CPR Promotional Check-Up - Nov 8, 2011
November 8, 2011
This is a promotion from Schulte & Swann at KZIA. Football 101. Every Fall they take a bunch of women who know nothing about the sport, give them some classes and learning and then take them to a game. Now they're doing it with golf. Classes. Instruction. And then letting them loose on the links for a day. I love the concept of helping listeners experiment and discover new things to enjoy. It's kinda sorta but not like the idea of "virgins" and finding people who have never gone to a theme park or sat on Santa's lap or been to an concert.
From the "minds" at Q in Memphis. All contesting would be done through text exchanges with Santa who messages back what you won. Or not.
Not just for Halloween. Just about every workplace will have some kind of holiday get-together. This is so under-exploited. Throwing an event for the companies that DON'T have these things. Auctioning off the morning show co-host to be someones date. Pictures submitted for the website. Themed imaging from "your" event. One of the stations last year went out and did impromptu parties in workplaces every day, leading up to the "big day". Great, in-your-face marketing. And really? Hardly costs a penny.
