CPR Promotional Check-Up - Jun 1, 2015

Race riots are kinda touchy(tm) but if you were in Baltimore and ignored it or missed it, that's just plain pathetic. And it's sad to see at least one station with the autoposts popping on Facebook throughout. Because when there is mayhem in the streets, I don't WANT to know, I NEED to know about the "Full House" reunion. My favorite part is that listeners started to post suggesting that the out of market posting was really insensitive to the situation of the audience.
On the other hand, Tommy Chuck's stations have done a terrific job of covering it on the air and on social media. This should almost be used as a case study on what to do. https://www.facebook.com/931WPOC?fref=ts
First though? Unplug the freaking autoposts.
A Rather Alarming Morning Show Development
Jeff, Jenn and Fritsch at Q-102 in Cincy now have their own alarm clock app. http://www.wkrq.com/q102-app/
Kane at Hot in DC was my hero for setting up a program to text college girls to remind them to take their Pill.
I love acronyms. One of the stations that has done "WTF" (Win Tickets Free) as their Sumbrella has found an acronym for their moniker they can hang over the Summer.
In the meantime, if you play the ratings game and heavy BIG tickets up on one day, Big Free Friday might fit.
