Chuck Armstrong has always been passionate about radio. Within the first semester of doing a specialty show on The Wildcat 91.9 KSDB-FM, the student radio station at Kansas State University, he was selected as the Program Director. In addition to programming the station, Chuck hosted a weekly talk show that was recognized by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters two years in a row.
Starting his professional career in Kansas City, Chuck was the Digital Content Manager for Entercom's eight station cluster. Besides working with the station websites, producing video and managing several social media networks, Chuck hosted a weekly talk show on NewsRadio 980 KMBZ and later DJ'd the overnights on 98.9 The Rock.
Chuck now resides in New York City where he is the Assistant Program Director/Web Program Director 77 WABC. He's continually trying to figure out new ways for radio to adapt to the ever changing world of digital media. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and dog.
If you'd like to contact Chuck, there are a number of ways: Email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, FreeGotham.com. Don't let his politics scare you. He's a nice guy. Keep the hatemail to a minimum.
