"Better Place" is the latest single from the singer-songwriter, Rachel Platten. It can be found on her third full-length album, "Wildfire" out now via Columbia Records. This collection debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200 and it was recently certified gold by Recording Industry Association of America for combined sales.
When Rachel first released "Better Place" on Twitter, she announced, "I hope this song brings you light and lifts your spirits..."
In 2003, Rachel moved to New York City's Greenwich Village where she began her music career playing with a Prince and Sly and the Family Stone cover band called Dayz of Wild. Eventually, she started performing her solo music around the Village and then began touring the country. She has worked with numerous charities, Musicians on Call and she is an ambassador for Music Unites. She has released "Trust In Me" in 2003 and "Be Here" in 2011. Rachel's career really took off when her anthemic "Fight Song" came out in 2015.
In support of the album, Platten is in the middle of The Wildfire Tour. It will end on April 6th in Los Angeles.
