Control the “Controllables”
Those that have worked with me over the years are sick to death of hearing me say this, time and again. And, then again.
But it’s so true.
You must first recognize all that is within your control.
* You CAN’T control where Arbitron places meters or diaries, but you CAN control how good your radio station sounds every minute of every day.
* You CAN’T control a big national cancellation from a large advertiser, but you CAN control how much you have “in the funnel” to help defray the impact.
Take a good look at all that is within your control and CONTROL IT.
And, let go of the crap you can’t.
