From: Mediabase Subject: Reporting Platform Dear Friends, As most of you know, Mediabase and R&R recently parted ways, after the latter was purchased by VNU. All of us at Mediabase would like to thank you for your support and understanding during this transition. On August 6, 2006, Mediabase officially launched a new reporting platform for monitored and non-monitored stations, which includes 22 airplay charts. These charts are already appearing in a number of industry and consumer publications and websites. Mediabase is asking all monitored reporting stations to report their weekly adds to www.airplayaddboard.com. If a station is unable to report their adds for any reason, Mediabase will automatically denote an add for any song that spun seven times or more over the last airplay period (Sunday 12:00am-Saturday 11:59pm). Mediabase charts and panels will not be affected in any way by these new policies. No one will be dropped or added from any panel based on whether or not they report. In addition, Mediabase has contacted non-monitored stations and invited them to be part of our "Secondary Panels." Those stations are already reporting adds and playlists to Mediabase. The charts and adds for these stations will be available shortly on the website and in published reports. Stations may begin reporting their adds at 12:01am each Thursday. Close times are as follows (all times PT):

Tuesday Thanks for your continued support as we enter into an exciting new time. Mediabase was built ground up by direct feedback and input from our customers. That has been our core philosophy since 1985. It is a hallmark that will never change. -Your Friends At Mediabase P.S. Please email any questions to action@mediabase.com |
