Cheer For The New CBS/Entercom ... Even If You Don't Work There.
I actually compete with the new consolidated company and am not anti-iHeart, so why suggest this? Radio needs truly good headlines (not just that we are over-paying a select few national air talent in an effort to project success; you never see TV release income numbers on individual talent).
We need real rating wins in programming to cheer about, not just individual salary wins for talent. TV networks have breakout new hit shows in ratings and also publish AD rate increases for the Super Bowl -- those kinda wins!
