WCGX Drops 'Gen' From 'X106.7'

No Longer Gen X

CLEAR CHANNEL Adult Hits WCGX/COLUMBUS, OH has shifted from "GEN X 106.7" to "X106.7, COLUMBUS' ALTERNATIVE STATION."

The station flipped from Alternative WRXS (RADIO 106.7) to a gold-based format approximately 18 months ago.

CC/COLUMBUS Dir./Ops. TONY TRAVATTO told ALL ACCESS, "We’ve simply added some currents to day time rotation (songs we were largely already playing). This isn’t a format flip but more of an evolution that we think puts us in a good place."
