The FCC has rejected LAZER LICENSES, LLC's appeal of an $8,000 fine for public file violations at Regional Mexican KSBQ-A (LA MEXICANA 1480)/SANTA MARIA, CA, Regional Mexican KLMM (RADIO LAZER 94.1 FM)/MORRO BAY, CA, and Regional Mexican KLUN (RADIO LAZER 103.1)/PASO ROBLES, CA.
LAZER had argued that the fine was greater than in similar cases and that the file was not missing but the employee who knew where it was happened to be out of the office when the FCC agent arrived.
