Once Again, Livin' Large Larry Is Freezin’ For A Reason

American soldiers are returning from war... joining hundreds of thousands of men and women who have served to protect our country. Sadly, not all of those soldiers will return to a stable, normal life. Even in MONTANA, many will find themselves struggling simply to survive.

TOWNSQUARE Oldies KKBR (K-BEAR)/BILLINGS' LIVIN' LARGE LARRY believes that he and his listeners can help.

For the third year in a row, LARRY will be battling MONTANA's winter for charity. This year's "Freezin' for a Reason" will put LARRY in the 97.1 K-BEAR van where he will live for three frigid days and nights.

Last year LARRY's listeners donated $53,000 to help keep zoo MONTANA's doors open. This year, he's hoping to raise enough to add some brand-new doors to the VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA for BILLINGS Homeless Vets assistance center in BILLINGS. LARRY says this year's charity was an easy choice. "These men and women have given a lot for us. We can't, in good conscience, allow them to end up on the streets."
