Box Has A New Gig

FISHER COMMUNICATIONS Talk KVI-A SEATTLE PD TRAVIS BOX is exiting the station to take on what he calls, "the hardest job I will never stop loving." BOX will become "a stay-at-home Dad to my nine-month-old daughter MACALLAN."

BOX is married to News KOMO morning anchor MANDA FACTOR, and the two had their first child back in APRIL.

"JANUARY 13th will be my last day here at FISHER, and then I guess I transition into my new PD role -- Permanent Daddy!BOX told ALL ACCESS. "I can't say enough good things about the team here at FISHER, but after producing some of our talk talent (and they know who they are ... LOL) Changing diapers would be a refreshing change."

Current 1-3p host SCOTT CARTY will assume the role of Interim PD.
