CBS RADIO AC WDOK (SOFT ROCK 102.1)/CLEVELAND, which had cut ties with several personalities recenty, now drops the "SOFT ROCK" moniker for "THE NEW 102, CLEVELAND’S STATION FOR AC HITS."
"THE NEW 102 means better music and more of it. Artists you love, such as LADY GAGA, KATY PERRY, ADELE and TAYLOR SWIFT can now be heard along with the best songs from the '80s, '90s and 2000s," explained PD DAVE POPOVICH. "More music means 20 songs in a row during the work day. In addition to the hits, the station will debut a new and engaging morning show lead by some familiar faces."
The morning show will also be tweaked, with JEN TOOHEY joining market veteran TRAPPER JACK and JIM MCINTYRE.
"A great adventure lies ahead for our new show. To work with TRAPPER and JIM and be part of THE NEW 102 is so exciting -- I can't wait to get started," said TOOHEY.
TOOHEY comes from sister station Hot AC WQAL (Q104), where she co-hosted the "TOOHEY AND FEE SHOW."
