Veteran host ALAN KABEL joins SQUARE ONE SYNDICATION for a new five-hour weekend Country show, "KABEL COUNTRY." 

KABEL said, "I love Country because the people who create it are real people, not trumped-up phony celebrities. They all come from hard work and dirt. They appreciate their fans and they care about people and our country."  He added, "I really don't have a style. For me radio is exactly like the music. It's entertaining, making people feel something and over time becoming a part of someone's life. You don't know them, you can't see them but they get married, you're there, they have a baby, you're there, they graduate, go on a first date, get fired ... all through the years you are there in the little box."

SQUARE ONE CEO JASON THOMPSON said, "KABEL is great. Listen to the guy for five minutes and you know he really loves what he does. He's a large-market guy and he sounds like it. I couldn't be more pleased to have him on-board to round out our Country programming."
