Two Decades And Counting

CBS RADIO Triple A WXRT/CHICAGO morning host LIN BREHMER has been doing mornings on the station for 20 years now -- longer than any other morning-drive host in CHICAGO!   And to celebrate, the station has announced a special live radio event, Great To Be Alive: Celebrating 20 Years of LIN BREHMER’s Morning Show on XRT, airing on THIS SATURDAY, JANUARY 21st at noon.

This two-hour retrospective will be hosted by a triumvirate of BREHMER’s XRT colleagues: midday DJ and National Radio Hall of Famer TERRI HEMMERT; LIN’s morning co-host and news anchor, MARY DIXON; and veteran XRT personality-interviewer-festival correspondent, MARTY LENNARTZ.

During the course of Great To Be Alive, they will share insights and excerpts from the past two decades of BREHMER’s daily program, as well as reactions and reflections from noteworthy musicians, celebrities, politicians, and others with whom he has crossed paths.  There will also be a performance from CHICAGO’s WACO BROTHERS.

It all takes place at one of CHICAGO’s newest and most talked-about downtown venues, SOUTH BRANCH.
