FCC Proposes $17,000 Fine For Violations At WPLY-A

The FCC has proposed a $17,000 fine against NASSAU BROADCASTING II LLC,, debtor-in-possession, for transmission and public file violations at Talk WPLY-A/MOUNT POCONO, PA.
The station was inspected on MARCH 25th, 2010 and found to have no local public file and was transmitting from only one of its four towers with a reduced output of 250 watts without notifying the FCC. An STA for the reduced operation was subsequently granted.
