Announces New Local Partnership

LIGHT MEDIA adds ALBANY, GA community leader and local newspaper publisher JUDITH THOMPSON to its on-air staff of Gospel WZBN (POWER 105.5/THE KING)/ALBANY, GA.  THOMPSON, publisher of weekly distributed local THE METRO GAZETTE, will be on air each WEDNESDAY from 3-4p (ET) starting JANUARY 25th.

LIGHT MEDIA also announced that it has formed a strategic marketing partnership between WZBN and THE METRO GAZETTE. The partnership will allow the two groups to cross-promote and market one another to their respective broadcast and print audiences and will give local, regional and national advertisers the opportunity to seamlessly share campaigns across radio, digital and print platforms.

This new partnership between LIGHT MEDIA and THE METRO GAZETTE replaces the previous partnership with DOWNTOWN ALBANY NEWS (NET NEWS 12/05/11).  The DOWNTOWN ALBANY NEWS announced that would be placing its 2012 publication series on hold.
