Birmingham Gets Struck By Tornadoes And WZZK Goes Wall-To-Wall Coverage

Storms Bear Down On Birmingham

COX MEDIA Country WZZK/BIRMINGHAM, AL OM/PD JUSTIN CASE tells ALL ACCESS that WZZK went wall-to-wall information at 3:03a (CT) this morning (1/23), as the BIRMINGHAM area started to get hit by tornado’s and severe storms.

We had been warning people of a potential overnight event since early in the weekend,” said CASE. “There have been fatalities again and so far 21 tornado’s reported with the storm. NORTH BIRMINGHAM communities were hit, as well as some areas in counties to the south of BIRMINGHAM.”
